The EVOO Bio La Estaca "esencia de montaña" is an organic extra virgin olive oil, Picual monovarietal, from high mountains, with Designation of Origin Sierra Mágina and EU organic certification.

​

It is a gourmet and organic extra virgin olive oil, harvested in November, with intense organoleptic properties and a high content of antioxidants (polyphenols): Properties given by the sum of the Picual variety and the altitude.

​

This high level of antioxidants gives the Bio La Estaca EVOO "esencia de montaña" greater over time preservation of its properties and benefits for our health.

The process of obtaining the EVOO Bio La Estaca "esencia de montaña" begins in the field in November with the olive in its optimal state of maturation. The harvest is carried out using only olives from the tree (flight), which are carefully selected, cleaned to prevent deterioration and delivered to the oil mill just after harvesting, in the shortest possible time.

Once in the oil mill, the fruit is grounded in less than 24 hours to avoid, in this way, any deterioration in the quality of the organic EVOO. The olive oil obtained is stored in stainless steel tanks for optimum conservation.

 

Due to its elaboration characteristics, the Bio La Estaca “esencia de montaña” EVOO enjoys great quality because treatments such as refinement or blending are not used, with which the great properties that only extra virgin olive oil has are lost.

 

A careful production of Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil guarantees 100% respect for the environment given an absolute commitment to natural products in the cultivation, and therefore, free of chemical products.
